What is the A to Z ?
The A to Z of Services is a searchable, on-line directory of the services that
N.E.L.C. provides.
How to use the A to Z
There are two ways to search the A to Z of Services Directory. ") One is to use
the letters across the top of the page, the other is to use the Search field
provided. ") Detailed descriptions of each of the processes follows.
The list that is returned after a search has been conducted will contain the
service title and any phone numbers related to the service. You will notice
that some of the service titles are hyperlinks. Clicking on these service
titles will take you to another page giving more detailed information about the
service, such as opening times, contact points and any other pertinent
information.
You can return to this page at any time by clicking on the 
icon at the top of the page.

Speed Links
Across the top of the page are the 26 letters of the alphabet. Clicking on one
of these letters will return a list of all services that begin with that
letter. This is often a quicker way to return a list of services if you know
the name of the service that is being sought, but can return a rather long list
for certain letters ('S' for example). If the exact name of the service is not
known, or a more exact search is required, the search box can be used.
Searching
To enable a more refined search for the service being sought, the box just
below the A ... Z can be used (the one labelled 'Search for : '). You can type
anything you want in this box, obviously the more information entered the more
specific the search. There is no need to enter wildcards either, the search
text entered is looked for in any part of the service title. For example,
typing in the word 'schools' will return all services whose title contains the
word 'schools' (e.g. School Admissions, Nursery schools etc). Complete words
are not required either, for example 'Sch' could be entered and Service Titles
containing the letters 'Sch' will be returned (this would, obviously, include
'Schools').
Boolean searches are not supported by the A to Z search engine.
