| A |
No. North East Lincolnshire Council is still the owner of the
centres mentioned. SLM are contracted to manage them on behalf of
the Council.
|
| Q | What role does the Council play in the running of the centres? |
| A |
North East Lincolnshire Council plays no part in the day to day
running of the centres although it does work closely with SLM, and
other partners, on ways to develop and improve the services
available from them.
|
| Q | If I wish to talk with someone about a management issue at one of the Centres, who would that be? |
| A |
In all cases you should approach the Manager or Duty Manager at the
centre concerned.
|
| Q | What information is there on the free swimming for over 60's scheme? |
| A |
Free swimming for any person aged 60 and over will be available
in North East Lincolnshire from Wednesday April 1st 2009.
In order to take up the offer, you must have proof of age which
would include birth certificate, passport, driving licence, bus
pass or an Everyone Active card.
To get a free Everyone Active card, you simply need to visit any
of the council leisure facilities, as shown above.
Public swim sessions vary from pool to pool and swimmers are
advised to check beforehand using the contact telephone numbers or
website links given at the top of this page.
|
| Q | What information is there on a free swimming scheme for aged 16 and under? |
| A |
There is no free swimming for young people aged 16 and under in
North East Lincolnshire.
The Department of Culture, Media and Sport were unfortunately
not able to raise sufficient funds to make an acceptable
contribution to the cost of running this scheme in North East
Lincolnshire.

| Q | How do I find out more about the activities provided at the centres? |
| A |
For details of what is offered by the facility you should
contact the leisure centre directly.
