These permits consist of specific conditions that the operators have to adhere to. Inspections are carried out at the installations to ensure that the permit conditions are not in breach. Processes are divided into 3 categories:
- Part A1 processes: regulated by the Environment Agency (EA)
- Part A2 processes: regulated by NELC
- Part B processes: regulated by NELC
At the present time we regulate 71 installations across North East Lincolnshire:
- 2 Part A2 processes
- 69 Part B processes
The details of all processes regulated by NELCs are held on a Public Register. This is available for viewing during office hours and through prior arrangement. Please contact the Pollution Control Unit for further details.
