Licensing Act 2003 - General Notes to Applicants
- The Licensing Authority is currently unable to accept emailed licence applications,

Cash should not be sent in the post,

Advice to assist applicants completing the application forms is provided with the forms. Applicants should read this carefully before submitting applications,

Any incomplete application will not be accepted but will be returned with an explanation of why it is incomplete,

The application form reference numbers provided in this guidance only relates to forms provided by North East Lincolnshire Council,
- It is the applicants responsibility to ensure any other requirements relating to the business e.g. Planning Permission, Building Regulations Approval, Food Premises Registration are correctly in place, as such issues will not be addressed through the licensing process. Failure to do so could result in problems if the business operates in breach of other relevant legislation,
- Applicants are expected to be familiar with the North East Lincolnshire Council's contents of Statement of Licensing Policy,
- The applicant should complete the certificate of service form and send it with the application,
- Where possible, applicants should provide a copy of newspaper advertisements to the Licensing Authority.
