By Road - Entry to North East Lincolnshire from the north and west - A1, M62, M18, M180 and from the south - M1, A1, A46 into Grimsby.

By Rail - A regular rail service operates from all parts of the country directly into Grimsby station which is situated in the centre of the town. Timetable detail - telephone 0345 484950.

The Register Office is situated in central Grimsby adjacent to the Town Hall in Town Hall Square, close to the Central Library and Bus Station, and a short walk from the Railway Station. Unfortunately there isn't a car park for the Register Office but there is limited short-term car parking opposite and to the side of the office. There are dedicated disabled parking bays nearby and a large pay and display multi-storey car park also adjacent to the office, the entrance to which is off Abbey Walk via Osborne Street.
