All of the activities identified above are included in either our corporate or Directorate action plans. The first year focuses on tackling areas that have been identified as a high priority because of the potential impact on equality issues and because of the lack of monitoring information available in these areas. However, we recognise that we are starting from a low base and have chosen to review the Race Equality Scheme more frequently than the required three year cycle. This means that we will develop further action plans to ensure that consistent progress is made.
