| Provision must be made for access to the site by emergency vehicles. The identified route should not conflict with the route the public would use to get in or out.
Emergency vehicles will normally want a one-way system that will allow their vehicles to arrive on site and leave without turning round.
Ensure that both the entrance and exit do not cause any obstruction to the highway or inconvenience to road users.
