The Public Events Planning Group require as much notice as possible of any potential event,  to ensure that there is sufficient time for the Group to consider the event, pass on any comments or guidance that they feel necessary,  and to ensure that there are no clashes with other major events in the North East Lincolnshire area.

Ideally you should try to give at least six months notice.

If a serious clash of events is identified, there are a number of implications including the absence of sufficient Emergency Services personnel and severe traffic congestion.
