| Medical, Ambulance and First Aid Provision.
Following the risk assessment and agreement on levels of the medical, ambulance and first aid cover, this and any further arrangements relating to health care should be written in a statement of intent and signed and provided to the NHS Ambulance Service via the PEG Group.
Ensure that a suitable skills mix exists and that medical, ambulance and first aid providers are located effectively throughout the site.
Consider the availability of first aid provision during the build up and breakdown of the event.
Consider the need for first aid arrangements for persons attending that are queuing before the gates open.
Information on the location of first aid facilities must be available to all those attending by providing adequate signage and consider printing of the location on the tickets for the event.
First Aid treatment centres/posts should not be placed near areas of noise, ie speaker systems, generators etc. |
