Bremerhaven is a fun place to visit during the Summer Festival. It takes place in July and for a week Bremerhaven is almost a 24 hours a day festival - music, food, dance and, of course, beer. One of the most interesting aspects of the festival is the "Partners in Europe", the twin towns -Cherbourg, Frederikshaven, Pori, Szczecin, Kaliningrad and sometimes North East Lincolnshire have representatives there sharing experiences, culture, and economic information.
