Work club+ drop-in sessions

Work club+ drop-in sessions offer a “one-stop shop” approach to residents in North East Lincolnshire who are looking to get back into employment and find work.

The drop-in sessions can offer a range of advice to individuals who may have various different issues going on in their life associated with being out of work. Local Government Association

The community investment team was approached by the Local Government Association (LGA) to create a film on the Change programme. They short listed nine councils in the UK to showcase examples of best practice within regeneration and, more specifically, what is being done with Working Neighbourhoods Funding. LGA TV shot a five minute film which was shown as a best practice dissemination broadcast at the LGA annual conference June - July 2009. The film is available for viewing on the following link:

http://www.localgovernmentchannel.com/lga_tv/v/think_of_the_possibilities/

LGA TV also shot a film which was shown at the LGA Improvement and Innovation Conference in November 2009, which is also available on the above website.
