The Economic Development, Enterprise and Environment Board

The Economic Development, Enterprise and Environment Board is one of the four thematic boards of North East Lincolnshire's Local Strategic Partnership. 

It's aim is to improve employment opportunities for local people, addressing skill attainment and creating an environment to encourage entrepreneurship and investment. 

The primary focus of the board is to ensure delivery the borough's sustainable community strategy (elements relating to economic development and enterprise) and local area agreement. 

In order to achieve these aspirations the council and its partners have produced two key strategics which outline proirites for delivery - new horizons, the regeneration strategy and the (forthcoming) strategy for economic wellbeing.

The board has six sub groups which will forward outcome led delivery plans linked to priority indicators within our Local Area Agreement.  They are:

  • Innovation and Growth
  • Renaissance
  • Economic Wellbeing
  • Skills for Work
  • Environment
  • Investment Planning

  • Community Strategy
  • LAA
