North East Lincolnshire Council aims to make this web site user-friendly and accessible to all of our customers. You can change the way this website looks to suit your needs. The settings available differ from browser to browser, but most browsers offer some or all of the following:
Change the font size
You can adjust the size of the text on this website by using the font size buttons (white tabs with the letter A) in the navigation bar at the very top of this site.
Contrast and colour changes
You can adjust the contrast of this entire site by using the blue font size buttons (blue tabs with the letter A) in the navigation bar at the very top of this site. This functionality changes the background to a dark blue colour with white text – some visitors may find this easier to read. These colour settings also allow a larger text size.
Use a 'plain' layout
Many browsers allow you to strip a web page of all layout and styling by turning off the website 'style sheets'. If your browser supports this setting you will most likely find it in the 'View' menu.
Guidelines and standards
North East Lincolnshire Council aims to develop this site to meet accessibility standards set by W3C – Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 to A and AA level.
