Equality Impact Assessments (EqIAs) remain a useful tool that enables the Council to assess the implications of our decisions on all communities. Good equality analysis helps the Council to tackle inequality and target resources more efficiently.
A 3 year plan ( 2012 – 2015) entitled the “Equality Impact Assessment Schedule” detailing the dates which key policies and functions are due to be Equality Impact Assessed will be updated quarterly starting from 1st April 2012.
Recommendations and copies of equality impact assessments will also be published and updated quarterly commencing 1st April 2012.
