2011 Key Stage 2 validated data release dates
We are pleased to announce the provisional dates for the release of 2011 Key Stage 2 validated data. These dates may be subject to change. If amendments are required, we will notify users at least one week in advance of the dates indicated below via the Latest news section of the RAISEonline website.
Key Stage 2 validated data interactive reports – Tuesday 21 February 2012 late evening
Key Stage 2 validated data summary reports – Friday 24 February 2012 late evening
The Key Stage 2 validated data will reflect the outcome of requests for changes to the data during the July 2011 Schools and Colleges Tables checking period and changes made as a result of marking reviews. The validated data may not reflect the outcome of any late or ongoing appeals, or of late-resolved maladministration cases.
School’s own data
For the release of validated data, the data will be automatically copied to the school’s own dataset available to each school, except where the school has already created or amended at least one pupil for the 2011 Key Stage 2 year group. In the latter instance the schools will need to use the data management facility 'Reset Data' to copy over the new 2011 data.
If you have any queries, please contact the RAISEonline helpdesk at enquiries@ofsted.gov.uk.

Just to remind you that there is a KS2 assessment leaders meeting on the 25th January where access arrangements and changes for this year will be discussed. I have just received the information from the STA and added the full details below-
2 key points are:-

Deadline for adding to this site is the 27th February 2012 Phonics testing will take place during the week of the 18th June 2012- these results will be collected and reported nationally
Applying for access arrangements
The Access arrangements section of the NCA tools website will open on Monday 9 January. Schools will be able to apply for additional time, early opening and compensatory marks up until Monday 27 February.
Some changes have been introduced for the 2012 test cycle:
- To comply with the Data Protection Act 1998, we cannot accept emails about access arrangements. The Access arrangements section of NCA tools will include a secure communication system which can be used instead of email, however if schools have any queries regarding access arrangements they can contact the National Curriculum assessments helpline on 0300 303 3013.
- A list of eligibility tests for additional time will not be provided for this cycle. If schools are using eligibility tests, they should make sure they are:
- o up to date;
- o fully standardised;
- o age appropriate; and
- o have a ceiling level equivalent to, or above, the chronological age of the child.
Schools should not use past Key Stage 2 National Curriculum tests as these have not been designed for this purpose.
- Reports required for section B2 of the additional time criteria no longer need to have been written within in the previous school year. The name and qualification of the professional who has written the report must be included in the application.
Information about access arrangements can be found in section 5 of the Key Stage 2 Assessment and reporting arrangements and on the Department for Education website.
