The purpose of the Schools Forum is to represent school’s views on matters relating to the total schools budget and plays a vital role in discussions about the school funding formula, school contracts and other financial issues.
North East Lincolnshire Council needs to revise the constitution, terms of reference and membership of the Schools Forum to bring them into line with current regulation and to reflect the increased number of schools that have converted to academies.
Anyone is welcome to comment on the proposed changes and all responses to the consultation will be collated and analysed. The results will be included in a report to the Council’s cabinet where the final decisions about the constitution, terms of reference and membership will be made.
