"Building Schools for the Future (BSF) offers North East Lincolnshire Council a once in a lifetime opportunity to reform and redesign the pattern of secondary education provision. We are all very excited about the times ahead and want to encourage the community to get involved in reshaping our schools for the future."

In December 2006 North East Lincolnshire Council achieved a place in the Governments Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme. In August 2007 the Authority's place was accelerated to Wave 5 after Government assessed that North East Lincolnshire Council was ready to deliver the programme earlier than expected. The only Authority that has ever been moved forward in the programme, North East Lincolnshire is preparing the authority and our schools for the biggest single investment the Borough has ever seen. BSF offers the opportunity to rebuild or redesign all secondary schools in North East Lincolnshire alongside a complete review of secondary education provision in the Borough.

Building Schools for the Future in North East Lincolnshire secures nearly £120 million to transform secondary education in the Borough.

The council are asking the local community, children, young people and other stakeholders to help them shape the future of their schools.
