Education Welfare Service

North East Lincolnshire Council's Education Welfare Service (EWS) provides an extensive range of services to children, families and schools.

It carries out a number of statutory duties on behalf of North East Lincolnshire Council. The service and has a legal duty to ensure parents and schools fulfil their statutory responsibilities in relation to school attendance and exclusions.
