Creative Partnerships is a 'change programme' designed for the purpose of:
- Changing the approach and attitudes of teachers
- Changing the practice of creative individuals and organisations
- Changing the aspiration and performance of young people.
It encourages a focus on the development of creativity in young people and developing creative approaches to teaching all aspects of the curriculum. This involves several challenging concepts:
- Exploring creative risk-taking and innovation
- Exploring what education for the 21st century might be
- Evidencing and disseminating methodologies for creative learning
- Developing the capacity of the cultural and creative sectors to work effectively in schools
Please visit Creative Partnerships for more information.
We are delighted to announce that Creative Partnerships' national director, Paul Collard, will be addressing our Bright Sparks conference on 9th July 2008.
