***COMING SOON - 1APPs, the new Planning Application form***
The Government has decided to introduce a standardised application form (1Apps) for all applications from the 6th April 2008. All Councils in England and Wales must be using these forms from this date - both for the submission of online applications as well as for any application that is received as a hard copy or in any other format.
With this target date in mind North East Lincolnshire Council has decided to implement the use of the online 1Apps forms earlier than the April date. Therefore we will be going live with the online submission of the 1Apps forms from the 9th of January 2008.
It should be noted that we will still be able to accept paper copies of the old-style forms until the 6th April 2008. However the new 1Apps forms will be available both on our website and the Planning Department from late December 2007 and we would ask you to start using these forms so that you are familiar with them before the compulsory change-over in April 2008.

While we encourage the submission of Planning applications via the Planning Portal, we will still accept paper copies. Once you have completed the form(s) the appropriate number of copies must be printed off, signed, dated and sent back to us by post together with the appropriate plans and fee, to: Environmental Services, Civic Offices, Knoll Street, Cleethorpes, DN35 8LN.
