The SHEEP scheme (South Humber Energy Efficiency Partnership) is
partnership between North East Lincolnshire Council and North
Lincolnshire Council. The scheme can provide discounted
Loft and Cavity wall Insulation to anyone who is a home owner.
Loft Insulation
Fitting loft insulation is easy and cost effective way to save
energy. The thicker the material, the greater the
saving. Recommended depth of loft insulation is 270mm
(11")
Cavity wall Insulation
Walls lose more heat than any other part of your home. The
contractor drills small holes into the cavity into which they
inject insulation material. The work causes little disruption
and is completed within a day.
Renewable Options
In addition to insulation measures, the SHEEP scheme now offers
Renewable Technologies such as Solar Panels and Ground Source Heat
pumps.
