What changes have happened to the planning system?
The Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 sets out the Government's reforms to the planning system. The Act requires all local planning authorities to produce a Local Development Framework or LDF for short. The process for producing the LDF is set out in Government guidance and/or regulations and must be followed.
