e-planning - Pendleton Survey Criteria
As part of the Implementing e-Government agenda, Pendleton Associates have drawn up a set of criteria to measure progress with e-enabling local authority planning services.
In 2005, an independent survey of all Local Planning Authority websites took place, North East Lincolnshire Council achieved 10 of 21 criteria in Pendleton's national survey. The Authority was previously awarded a grant which has been partially re-invested to provide an enhanced electronic delivery of planning services in the forthcoming year. Since that time there has been a process of ongoing improvements.
The following shows each of the pendleton criteria and whether North East Lincolnshire Council is currently meeting them. If we have met the criteria a link to the appropriate page is given.

Criterion 16 - Online facility to pay statutory application fee alongside electronically submitted applications. North East Lincolnshire's Position - Achieved - via Planning Portal site. This feature will come up automatically at the end of the process for completing an online application.
Criterion 17 - Ability to attach drawings, photographs and documents associated with the online application to an electronic application.
