Spatial Intelligence Team

The Spatial Intelligence Team is a small dedicated team which carries out the monitoring of housing, commercial and employment land uses and brownfield development rates. It is also responsible for maintaining the Local Land and Property Gazetteer (LLPG) and for statutory Street Naming and Numbering.

The Team researches information in support of the statutory development plan process, the Local Development Framework (LDF),  produces the LDF Annual Monitoring Report and researches data for the Regional AMR and central government statistical returns. The Team produces informative documents such as the Urban Potential Study and Housing and Employment land availability and is also responsible for researching performance information in connection with the Best Value initiative.
