The Community Recycling Centres in Grimsby and Immingham are open every day (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day) from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. for the disposal and recycling of household materials.

- Textiles & Shoes
- Glass Bottles & Jars
- Food & Drink Cans
- Vehicle Batteries
- Newspapers & Magazines
- Waste Engine Oil (Maximum 5 litres / 1 gallon)
- Liquid Petroleum Gas Bottles (returned to suppliers for re-use)
- Plastic Bottles ONLY
- Scrap Metals
- White goods Household Chemicals (i.e. garden fertilisers, wood preservatives and pesticides.)
- Bonded Asbestos (available: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m., Saturday 8.30 to 12.30 p.m.,Sunday, Wednesday and Bank Holidays CLOSED)

- TV's and computer monitors

Important Notice to Depositors of Building Waste
Construction and demolition waste is accepted at both sites, in small quantities .i.e. fits in a car.
Construction and demolition waste is deemed to include items such as bricks, rubble, soil (including turf), timber, door and window frames, fitted furniture including kitchen and bathroom fitments.

Commercial Vehicles
Commercial vehicles carrying construction and demolition waste will be refused entry. A commercial vehicle is any vehicle designed to carry goods rather than passengers. This also applies to private/hire commercial vehicles.
