The Meridian Line, where East meets West, runs through Cleethorpes as it heads from the North to the South. Sunrises like this one can be seen as you look over the Meridian Line out to sea.

The graph below displays solar energy in Kilojoules per square meter (KJ/m2) per hour. Plants have perfected the way of harvesting this energy through photosynthesis,  allowing them to grow.

But what we really want to know is, when is the sun out? Well, a good rough guide is that when the graph is reads 1000 kJ/m2 - the sun is out!
