The area is well known for its cold north easterly winds, but the prevailing wind comes from the west. Cleethorpes beach is a populer destination for kite flyers and wind surfers. The Beach Safety team are always on duty to advise anybody that visits them.  Always making sure that visitors are well informed on how to enjoy their activity in safety.
