What if I am not happy with the panel's decision about the amount of service I/my child should be receiving?

If you or your child disagree with the decision of the panel in relation to the level of service then you can appeal using the process of the statutory complaints procedure. This is classed as an appeal rather than a complaint. In this instance an officer independent of the panel will review the panel's decision in light of your child's assessment of need/Child In Need plan (CIN plan), following discussion with your child/you, and will then report their findings back to the panel.
