There may be times when your child has to miss school because they are sick. Please ensure you follow your school’s procedures for reporting absence, usually by contacting school by phone on the first morning of absence. If your child is frequently absent because of illness the staff may ask you to obtain written evidence, such as a GP appointment card, evidence of prescribed medication, a letter from your GP.
