Details of Housing Association Accommodation

Housing Associations are independent organisations set up to provide accommodation (mostly for renting).  The housing is built to a good standard and to all intents and purposes their tenancies are secure and permanent.  Housing Associations are not profit making landlords but exist to provide a service.  They are not connected to the Council but because they are funded from public money the Council may nominate applicants from the Housing Register for some vacancies.
