What does a typical working day for you involve?
- Working with the community, education with in schools.
- Meetings with community groups.
- Working with other partnerships and the police.
- Foot and van patrols of North east Lincolnshire.
Do you need any qualifications or specific training? (If not, what were your circumstances?) Warden core training
What do you enjoy most about your job? Working with the community to make a difference. Working with children in the schools and out in the community.
What is the most challenging part of your job? Trying to get the right solution. Also trying to get the messages across how Anti Social Behaviour can affect other people
Is there any progression opportunities in your career? There is but I am over 50 and really enjoy what I am doing
What inspires or motivates you to do your job on a daily basis? The people I work with, my team and also the community.
Any additional comments? I came from 25 years in a factory, where I was a team leader, this job is a completely different challenge. Also one you do not know what is going to happen from day to day.
