What's in the Archives
The North East Lincolnshire Archives cares for the archives of North East Lincolnshire and North Lincolnshire, and particularly those of the local authorities from 1889 to 1996: Cleethorpes Borough, Glanford Borough, Great Grimsby Borough and Scunthorpe Borough, and their predecessors.
The Archives is not a diocesan record office. So original Church of England parish and diocesan registers and records, and old wills, are held at the Lincolnshire Archives in Lincoln. However, we do hold copies of some parish registers.
