Eryngium maritimum

The Sea Holly lives on sandy and shingle beaches and a rear plant in the reserve with just two plants. There are other plants of sea holly in the area but they do not fall in the boundary of the reserve. A prickly customer with Grey-green leaves and blue flowers both having sharp needle-like spikes.
