 The Jamil Sheriff Octet plays hard hitting, post bop influenced, original modern jazz.
The octet has been taking the country by storm for the last four years and has recently recorded its second album "Backchat".
As always, there's likely to be some fresh music for this tour, as well as pieces from this album. The octet consists of the original eight members: Pat McCarthy, John Perry, Zoltan Dekany, Jamil Sheriff, Ben Martin, Andrew Colman, Joel Purnell and Kevin Holbrough.
