Understanding Dyslexia
What is dyslexia?
Dyslexia is a Greek word and means difficulty with words. It is caused by a difference in the part of the brain which processes language and therefore affects the skills required for learning, which may be one or more of the following - reading, writing, spelling and numeracy.
Dyslexia affects people from all backgrounds and ethnic groups at all levels of intelligence.
