Reading Challenge Terms and Conditions
The reading challenge will run between June the end of December 2008. You can start the challenge any time; however you will only be eligible to enter the prize draws if you have read the correct amount of books by the time each monthly draw takes place. The books must be adult North East Lincolnshire Library books/talking books
All participants of the reading challenge will be over 16 years of age and must be members of the library. (Proof of age may be requested.)
The challenge will work as follows
Read 1 book by the end of July to be entered for the £50 draw
Read 1 book by the end of July to be entered for £50 draw
Read 2 books by end of August to be entered for £50 draw
Read 3 books by end of September to be entered for £100 draw
Read 4 books by end of October to be entered for £100 draw
Read 5 books by end of November to be entered for £100 draw
Anyone who completes the full challenge reads 6 books by the end of December will be entered into the final prize draw to win £250
Participants will only be eligible for one entry into a draw per monthIf a participant wins a £50.00 draw they will still be eligible for entry into the next draws for bigger cash prizes, so long as they have read the correct amount of books by the time of the next draw.
Participants will be required to fill in a postcard for every book they read to tell us what they thought of the book. The book and post card must be handed in at a North East Lincolnshire Library to be eligible for the draw.
The winners of prize draws should, if possible be available to take part in any publicity required.
North East Lincolnshire Council will list the winner's name and location on the web site for at least one month after each prize draw. This information will also be in all libraries
Employees of North East Lincolnshire Libraries will not be eligible for inclusion in any prize draws attached to this reading challenge.
By entering the reading challenge, participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions in relation to any of the prize draws.
