You can borrow Compact Discs, and Videos from any library in North East Lincolnshire. We have recently added DVDs to the collection in Grimsby Central Library.
New releases are constantly added to stock, so as well as the standard classics, you will also find new chart releases and the best in Country, Jazz, Folk and all other types of music.
The main collections are at Grimsby and Cleethorpes libraries where you will find a full range of music from Bach to ZZ Top and videos from The Abyss to Zulu.
The other libraries in North East Lincolnshire either have a collection in one format only (such as CDs or Videos) or will have a small "taster" collection featuring new material in all formats.
If you can't find the CD, or video you want, you can ask for it to be reserved for you if there is a copy in North East Lincolnshire. If there isn't a copy available, you can fill in a "suggestion for purchase" form.
There is a charge for borrowing Compact Discs, and Videos from the library. This enables us to buy even more music and video for your entertainment.
North East Lincolnshire libraries are a partner in Encore, a music scores service shared with the North Lincolnshire, East Riding and Hull councils. This is one of the most comprehensive collections of printed music for hire in the country. It includes operas, masses, shows, and madrigals
