GreenSTAT and Your Parks
Help us to continue to improve parks and open spaces throughout North East Lincolnshire and be in with a chance of winning £100 worth of tree vouchers to spend on trees for a park or open space of your choice.
Over the last four years over £4 million has been invested into our parks and open spaces. People's Park has recently been restored to its former Victorian glory and this has been made possible by a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. Many other parks have benefited from the Liveability capital investment programme. This includes Cleethorpes Country Park, Sidney Park, Weelsby Woods, Haverstoe Park, Grant Thorold Park, Trinity Field Open Space, Bradley and Dixon Woods, People's Park and Homestead Park in Immingham.
Work is currently underway at the Duke of York Gardens to install a new play area and teen shelter through a grant of £137,000 provided by Waste Recycling Environmental Ltd (WREN). The work is due to be completed by the end of July.
In order to continue to improve parks and open spaces we'd like to find out what you think about your local parks and the service provided by North East Lincolnshire Council.
Please tell us what you think by completing the online GreenSTAT survey questionnaire. GreenSTAT is a visitor survey system, which records users' views of their local parks and green spaces. The information will help us to identity where future resources can best be directed to further enhance local facilities.
Complete the online GreenSTAT survey.
If you do not have access to the internet hard copies of the survey are available on request from Sue Pearson on 01472 325812.
