The council's play rangers are hosting a play day on Wednesday, August 4.
Children and young people from North East Lincolnshire are set to have fun in the sun in Wednesday, August 4.
The council’s play rangers are hosting a play day at Meridian Point, Cleethorpes, as part of a national celebration of children’s right to play.
The event will see children and their families taking part in activities such as den building, football, arts and crafts, messy play and face painting.
There will also be a mini farm and an inflatable assault course for the visitors to enjoy.
Portfolio holder for culture, leisure and tourism, Councillor Leanor Pidgen, said: “This is sure to be a wonderful event for our local children and their families. Keeping children occupied over the summer can be both stressful and expensive for parents, events like these are a great remedy for this.”
The event is free and runs from 11am to 4pm. All are welcome.
