Natwest payments technical problem

Some council transactions delayed

Yesterday's technical problem with the Nat West online banking systems affected North East Lincolnshire Council as one of their business customers. All receipts and payments that were due to go out yesterday were unfortunately caught up in the problem . Nat West have informed us that they are endeavouring to post all delayed transactions by 5:00pm today, but are not able to provide us with a firm guarantee at this stage. However, Nat West have confirmed that our customers will be compensated for any bank charges incurred as a direct result of the bank’s system failure.
