Torch relay updates - North East Lincolnshire
Sports fans and culture vultures can keep up-to-date with all the latest news and events from North East Lincolnshire Council’s sports and arts development teams using Facebook and Twitter.
Residents who prefer to get up to the minute news straight to their mobile or computer can follow the combined sports and arts Twitter feed or ‘like’ the individual sport and arts development Facebook pages.
The teams will be posting all the latest information about activities including dance and fitness based classes, birthday parties and Sport Lincs events. Great prizes will also be up for grabs in a number of competitions planned for the months ahead.
As the Olympic Torch Relay gets closer to its time in North East Lincolnshire all the latest news and information will be sent out using the team’s Twitter account with the hashtag #NELtorchrelay
The torch relay’s journey through Immingham, Grimsby and Cleethorpes, details about road closures, traffic congestion, car parking availability and photographs of spectators will all be feature on the Twitter feed.
