Cultural Roadshow races on to Cleethorpes Library

The baton has now been passed on to Cleethorpes Library for the next leg of North East Lincolnshire Council’s Cultural Roadshow tour.

Cleethorpes Library will play host from Monday, April 2 to Friday, April 13.

To celebrate the London Olympic Games, the council’s sports and arts development team in partnership with libraries have organised a ‘Cultural Roadshow’ of exciting activities such as tai chi, arts and crafts and online foreign language taster sessions.

There will also be a reminiscence session, where members of the community can look back at local games, hobbies and pastimes.

A full list of the sessions at Cleethorpes Library includes:

Tuesday, April 3 1pm to 2pm and 2pm to 3pm Online foreign language taster session
Tuesday, April 10 1pm to 3pm Tai Chi/ Chair based taster
Tuesday, April 10 10.30am to 11.30am Reminiscence session: Games,hobbies and pastimes
Wednesday, April 11 10am to 12 noon Arts and crafts

All sport and art sessions cost £1.50 and there is no need to book in advance. The reminiscence sessions are free and can be booked by contacting the library service on (01472) 323628. The language sessions are also free and can be booked by contacting (01472) 323613.
