Games, Hobbies and Pastimes

Did you play with model aeroplanes, paper dressing up dolls or tiddlywinks? Perhaps you collected stamps, comics or spent your time listening to records on the wireless or gramaphone. Whatever your memories, Grant Thorold Library is holding a reminiscence event where you can talk about games, hobbies and pastimes on Tuesday, May 29, between 10.30 am and 11.30 am.

The session is part of The Big History Project, a Heritage Lottery funded project for people with visual impairments and dementia.

Participation is encouraged in the informal session, creating an opportunity for local people to share their memories and exchange personal accounts of their experiences.

The sessions are free and refreshments will be available.

For more information contact Jennie Mooney or Susan Hewer on (01472) 323628.
