Public consultation over new developments for the borough

Have your say as to how the area should be developed over the next 15 to 20 years.

Have your say on where new housing and business developments should be located in North East Lincolnshire as part of the launch of a New Local Plan for the area.

The New Local Plan will be very important helping to shape the Borough over the next 15 to 20 years. From Friday, October 26, you can have your say on the issues facing the area and what options there are to address them.

Have your say by viewing and commenting on the consultation documents online at http://nelincs.objective.co.uk/portal/

Alternatively, to view the documents and to discuss any issues with officers attend one of the following drop-in sessions:

  • Civic Offices, Knoll Street, Cleethorpes
    Monday, October 29 from 11am to 2pm
  • Civic Centre, Pelham Road, Immingham
    Wednesday, October 31 from 4pm to 7pm
  • Municipal Offices, Town Hall Square, Grimsby
    Thursday, November 1 from 11am to 2pm
  • Grimsby Library, Town Hall Square
    Saturday, November 3 from 10am to 2pm

Written responses in the form of emails and letters will be accepted via newlocalplan@nelincs.gov.uk or:
New Local Plan Origin One, 1 Origin Way, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, DN37 9TZ.

The council is also asking landowners and residents to suggest specific sites which they consider are suitable for new development and why. This is not only for new housing development but for other uses as well.
