Watercolour exhibition at Humberston Library art club
Collection of works now on display
A summer watercolour exhibition displaying a collection of works by the Humberston Library Art Club is on show and is free to view at Humberston Library until Saturday, June 28.
Opened by Mr H Hall, chairman of Humberston Parish Council on Tuesday, June 3, the exhibition has already seen many visitors enjoying the colourful and seasonal works of art.
The Humberston Library Art Club meet regularly and are happy to welcome new members, of any ability to the group, who meet on Fridays between 10am and 12pm.
They currently have limited spaces available to new members but will be pleased to put interested budding artists on a waiting list for future availability.
The course tutors take members through pictures step-by-step and the group paint local and seasonal scenes, with this current exhibition being an excellent example of their work.
They also occasionally tackle different subjects such as still life and different techniques such as pen and wash.
They run a six-week beginners' watercolour course every few months with the next one starting on June 13. Courses are free but participants are asked to provide their own materials and equipment.
The club is inviting everyone to go to view their exhibition at Humberston Library on Church Lane.
