Crash barrier repairs on the New Waltham bypass
Day-long work will involve lane closures
WORK is due to start on Wednesday (July 30) on A16 New Waltham Bypass between Louth Road and Low Farm Roundabout.
The work is expected to last one day and involves repairs to vehicle crash barriers which have been damaged.
To carry out this work safely there will be lane closures and single lane working on A16 New Waltham Bypass.
Traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic lights from 9.30am until 3.30pm and between the traffic signals there will be a 30mph speed limit in force.
Outside of these hours, traffic will revert to the existing two lane working.
North East Lincolnshire Council apologises for any inconvenience caused but the work is essential to ensure the long term serviceability of the bridge.
