Floral planters will restrict A180 lane

Floral planters are being put out along the A180 on June 2 and 3 between Pyewipe roundabout and Lockhill roundabout as part of the New Horizons project.

The fast lane of the road will be closed between 9am and 3.30pm to enable the council to clean the area before putting the planters in position.

The project is the result of a partnership between North East Lincolnshire Council, Conocophillips and the Grimsby Evening Telegraph, alongside other local business, to enhance the entrance to Grimsby from the A180.

Further barriers and hanging baskets will be put out during the next seven to 10 days.  Areas for these additional decorative baskets include the road from Lockhill roundabout to Isaacs Hill roundabout and along Victoria Street East.
