Council Tax Benefit changes from April 2013
The Government programme on welfare reform is changing the way Council Tax Benefit works. A new local scheme has been created called Council Tax Reduction. Under this new scheme pensioners will continue to receive the same level of support as they did under the old scheme but many working age customers will receive less support.
