At some point in all our lives we will need to make use of this service, be it to register a birth or a death or attend a civil ceremony - be it a marriage, civil partnership or Citizenship ceremony.
North East Lincolnshire Council is responsible for Grimsby Crematorium and two cemeteries - Scartho Road Cemetery and Cleethorpes Cemetery
Replacement birth, death and marriage certificates for events registered in North East Lincolnshire are available from the Superintendent Registrar
All successful applicants for British Citizenship are required to take part in a Citizenship Ceremony within three months of their application for Citizenship being granted
There may be times when you notice a mistake on a birth, death or marriage certificate after the time of registration and you would like this error corrected
Please note that the Register Office is unable to deal with enquiries about changes of name.
