North East Lincolnshire Council has at present eight approved venues within the district, which are considered suitable for conducting dignified civil ceremonies. These buildings are known as Approved Premises and you can have your marriage or civil ceremony at any of the premises.
You may choose to have your civil ceremony in any Approved Premise within England and Wales and are therefore not restricted to the district in which you live.
Fees for such civil ceremonies are set by each individual Local Authority and vary throughout the country.
